(Covered) Page titles and descriptions should be unique. Every page on your website should have a unique title and description.

(Covered) Think about the words users would type to find your pages, and make sure that your site actually includes those words within it. Don’t get spammy.

Check for broken links on your website. Links that don’t go anywhere are bad.

Sign up for Google Webmaster tools. www.google.com/webmasters/tools This free tool has many features and statistical information for your websites on Google.

Create an XML sitemap for your website and make search engines can see it. A free tool can be found here: www.xml-sitemaps.com

Name your pictures correctly. Instead of “logo-large.jpg” use “hypnotherapy-in-orange-county.jpg”. Do not use spaces in file names.
